International Mediation Institute: Find the Right Mediator App
The Internationa Mediation Institute (IMI) is a non-profit foundation that drives standards of competency in mediation. IMI is internet-based but has offices in the Netherlands.
We have developed the IMI website, which includes a sophisticated mediator management system. Approved mediators can create and manage their profiles, and there is a publicly accessible search system to find a mediator in an appropriate location, with the right language skills and experience.
The Find a Mediator system is critical to the success of the site. Tribiq therefore developed a mobile web app to complement the usual search system on the regular website.
The app is easily opened using a smartphone device (such as an iPhone, Android or Blackberry), and does not require a visit to the iTunes store.
Once loaded, a user can rapidly compile a search, choosing the location, language and other criteria.
There is a keyword search feature, which allows a user to search by name.
Matching mediators are viewed in the handheld device, and where more details are available, these can be downloaded and saved as a PDF.
Users can compile a Shortlist, and send the Shortlist by email.
