As a web developer I found that the Plugins already available from Tribiq had done most of my work for me. Yet when I came to add a custom feature that I needed I discovered a rich and powerful development environment for me to work in, and found it easy to extend the functionality of Tribiq CMS to meet my requirements.
Managing and updating the website is easy thanks to the web-based interface that lets me quickly add new Content. Even my own specific adaptions are easy to control thanks to the common interface for managing Settings that the CMS provides.
Chris Turnbull, Owner of Commanga
Tribiq provided a designed logo for commanga.com; coming up with the distinctive red letters, and also provided artistic direction and advice for the rest of the site.
Tribiq delivered the Content Management System which powers the site, which was then modified (via writing custom Plugins) to add specific features; such as a social commenting system linked to the YouTube video website.
Commanga contains a database of comic reviews. Reviews can be accessed via a blog-style interface, via a search system, and by browsing by genre, age rating or score.
Each review contains both a text version and a video, as well as comments from visitors. The videos are linked to the YouTube video-sharing website and the comments are shared between the two sites, allowing people using www.youtube.com to communicate with commentators on the website.
